I am a philosopher from Estonia, currently an Associate Professor of Theoretical Philosophy at the University of Tartu. I work primarily on philosophy of mind (imagination and desire), with additional interests in aesthetics (the structure of aesthetic appreciation) and epistemology (self-knowledge).

From November 2019 until October 2021 I was a JSPS Postdoctoral Research Fellow, first in Hiroshima University and then in Hokkaido University. From March 2017 until February 2019 I was a Fellow in Philosophy at Harvard University.

I completed by PhD in 2014 at the University of Tartu under the supervision of Bruno Mölder, my external reviewers were Christopher Gauker and Julia Tanney. My thesis was about mental state attribution and folk psychology.
